At heart, Jason is a digital strategist and technology enthusiast who lives and breathes open-innovation. Joined Nest in 2017, Jason focuses on accelerating startups while building ecosystem partnerships in Greater China. With Nest’s vision of empowering entrepreneurs, Jason actively contributes to the startup ecosystem in different ways. This year, he helped identify and shape future unicorns of the world as part of the Jury for e27’s global Echelon Summit.
Before stepping into the world of startups, Jason worked in a private equity fund where he gained exposure into new and exciting verticals such as precision medicine, genetic science and digital education. He helped identify and evaluate investment opportunities and spearheaded fundraising efforts for the fund.
Prior to private equity, Jason was a digital strategist with Accenture where he worked with corporates to craft and transform them into digital-led businesses across experience design, technology, analytics, and innovation. Jason led multiple large-scale digital transformation projects across Greater China for brands including: L’Oreal, Giorgio Armani, Kiehl’s, Lancome, Lacoste, Moleskine, Starbucks, DFS, AIA, YvesSaintLaurent and KIA.
Jason received his BSc Economics from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and his MSc Management from Imperial College London.
